Project DIY is a monthly subscription service developed with flagship NYC garment district supplier M&J Trimming. Each month, the service delivered 2-3 runway-inspired DIY jewelry and accessories projects to hundreds of subscribers across the United States. Project kits included all materials, tools, and extras for embellishment + corresponded with a dynamic online tutorial site with videos, images and instructions. I was able to have full creative freedom designing the projects and accessories, sourcing materials, as well as creating tutorials and videos for subscribers.
In addition to the subscription service, Project DIY also built up an online + IRL community of crafters, DIYers, and fashion enthusiasts looking to create and customize the latest trends and materials. To support these efforts, I facilitated in-person jewelry workshops at the M&J Trimming store, during press events at NY Fashion Week, and at MTV Studios.
